Its simplicity makes it incredibly to use for parents and teachers alike. Homegrown at Teddy Kids, family owned daycare in the Netherlands, eKids is essentially an app that takes away all the hassle of operating a daycare by putting the organisation in the hands of teachers and parents. They fill in the data (such as child registration, absences, etc.), and eKids does the rest. The app goes by a freemium model, which means that all the basic modules are free, however advanced features require a fee. Once the network is built up there are plans to introduce an affiliate model for child/daycare products.
